Academic experience

2005 – participated observership program in head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery in “University of Michigan” that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Gregory WOLF (head and neck surgery), Prof. Dr. Carol BRADFORD (head and neck surgery) and Prof. Dr. Shan BAKER ( facial plastic surgery and head and neck reconstruction).

2005-2006 – fulfilled the military service in Tatvan/Bitlis.

2006-2007 – worked as a private practitioner in Hayri Sivrikaya Hospital in Düzce.

2007-2012 – worked in Celal Bayar University as an assistant professor with special interests of head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery.

2009 – participated observership program in head and neck surgery and sleep surgery in “University of California, San Francisco” that was supervised by Prof. Dr. David EISELE (head and neck surgery), Prof. Dr. Lisa ORLOFF (thyroid and parathyroid surgery) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Eric Keizirian (sleep surgery). Moreover, had a observer fellowship in Oakland that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ronald GRUBER (rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery).

2011 – board certified by Turkish Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Society.

2014 – participated observership program in head and neck surgery in “University of Pittsburgh” that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Jonas JOHNSON (head and neck surgery) and Prof. Dr. Robert L. FERRIS (head and neck surgery).

2012-2018 – fulfilled Basic Oncology ph.D. program in Instıtute of Oncology, Dokuz Eylül University that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Yasemin Baskın.

2012- Associate Professor in Manisa Celal Bayar University.

2020-has been working as a Professor in Manisa Celal Bayar University.

Research interests

My special interests are molecular pathologies and microenvironmental changes in head and neck cancers. My thesis of PhD is to investigate the role of hypoxia induced factors in head and neck cancers.

2006-2007 – worked as a private practitioner in Hayri Sivrikaya Hospital in Düzce.

2007-2012 – worked in Celal Bayar University as an assistant professor with special interests of head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery.

2011 – board certified by Turkish Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Society.

2014 – participated observership program in head and neck surgery in “University of Pittsburgh” that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Jonas JOHNSON (head and neck surgery) and Prof. Dr. Robert L. FERRIS (head and neck surgery).

Research interests

My special interests are molecular pathologies and microenvironmental changes in head and neck cancers. My thesis of PhD is to investigate the role of hypoxia induced factors in head and neck cancers.
